ADI ADRV9361ΒΆ
The Analog Devices ADRV9361 is a SOM which integrates the AD9361 transceiver and a Xilinx Zynq SoC. The ADRV9361 platform was previously known as the Avnet PicoZed SDR platform and as the ADI RFSOM platform.
The ADI ADRV9361 platform consists of three groups of boards:
System on Modules (SOM): Each SOM integrates the Zynq SOC, radio transceiver and various peripherals. There are currently two SOM options:
- ADRV9361: Xilinx Zynq 7Z035-2L SoC and ADI AD9361 radio
- ADRV9364: Xilinx Zynq 7Z020-1L SoC and ADI AD9364 radio - not supported
Carrier Boards: The SOM must be mounted on a carrier board. There are currently two carrier boards:
- ADRV1CRR-FMC FMC Carrier: large carrier, provides dual-Ethernet, user I/O, and FMC expansion slot
- ADRV1CRR-BOB Breakout Carrier: small carrier, provides single Ethernet and limited user I/O - not supported
RF Personality Modules: The FMC carrier supports an optional RF expansion module, intended to provide application-specific filtering and amplification options. ADI currently provides a single RF personality module:
- AD-PZSDR2400TDD-EB Module: 2.4GHz PA (Tx) and LNA (Rx)
Note
The current 802.11 MAC/PHY reference design supports the ADRV9361 SOM and the FMC Carrier. The design supports but does not require the AD-PZSDR2400TDD-EB RF module.
